The story so far…
The Kingdom of Cyphril wasn’t always there — the forests were free for all kind. The part of the land was ruled by three goddesses, who were known for their prowess in pure magic.In the year 238, this changed, when a man holding the name King Jones, hailed from the west. He pleaded with the goddesses — to share the wealth and mana rich soils with him. They agreed, under one condition. To leave their shrines, their worshippers be.A human could never live for as long as the three goddesses did. Immortality is a curse and a gift, you see. So, King Jones passed, and his son would take his throne. In the year 318, the goddesses found their temples trashed, the murals that had hung on the walls for hundreds of years, torn.
Anger, or fury didn’t describe the wrath that overtook the goddesses. And so, the cataclysm began. It was meant to eradicate the nobility that had festered in the soils, from their naivete. An all out war, between the gods of Cyphril and the mortals who’d broken the one rule set for them.The war ended, with the goddesses being sealed away — their bodies chopped and severed to keep the immortality from bringing them back to life. The truth was hidden, carefully obscured in the scrolls containing their history. The gods were described as barbarians, as wicked and insane.Now, the year is 823. One of the goddesses has awakened once more — and the soil under everyone’s feet feels richer than before. Gods haven’t forgotten humanity’s mistake, nor have they forgiven.

THE DEATHS
The Deaths begun as a simple religious group for the goddess Nepthys. They were kind, and safe people, just like anyone. After the cataclysm, they began to be persecuted, driven out of their homes and into the mountain sides.Now, the group has an infamous and gnarly reputation, largely based off of rumors. They are represented widely as blood-sucking, dangerous individuals who wish to harm humankind.Most Deaths have since abandoned living in the traditional society, and live in Mt. Quivern.

Fhenric resides in the north-western part of Cyphril. It is a cold, and an unforgiving landscape, with frost almost all year around. Back in time, it was run by mortals, before the foxians took over. Now, it is a home for the foxians who have lived there for centuries.Fhenric used to have to rely on the help from the capital, and the royals, until the Foxians took over. now, Fhenric and its territory are self-sufficient, and trade with the local merchants and villages.Foxians are long living creatures, and can live for thousands of years.

Covens are a neutral faction. they do paid work for anyone who needs it. Most witches dislike the royals to some degree, but due to their high pay, they still take up the jobs when offered.There is only one operating coven, named Fieldrow, that focuses on healing potions and very neutral jobs.Morgana and her teacher, Lythra, are a part of the Ashenfront coven, that was dissolved in the year 319.

Nobility remain closer to the capital of Gildheim. The richer you are, the closer you live to the main palace - The sapphire palace. The queen resides in the Emerald palace, that has seen better days.The current king is King James II. He wed the queen when Camellia was 16, and they bore a child. The child turned out to be a girl, so she was never recognized.Camellia doesn't have alot of political power, which forces her to stay in the palace, and to participate in polite society.Wenenyut is split into two. The old Wenenyut, and the New one. Old Wenenyut is under strict surveillance, due to it being one of the old seals for Nepthys' containment. It was highly dangerous, and an unlivable place.
